… Toontown Rewritten has now grown to over 1,900,000 registered players, with thousands of players playing at almost any given time of day. Unfortunately, much to the player’s dismay, Disney announced the game’s closure in August of 2013 due to budget cuts and changes in management at Disney Online. If the SOS toon is considered “good”, the toons will stay. If the SOS toon isn’t needed, the toons will leave. However, SOS shopping also comes in a form of leaving and staying based on the SOS toon.
SOS Shopping is when toons fight the Vice President to get SOS cards. This way you can run 2 toons and have them do separate things at the same time. You can control the left toon with the WASD/Shift keys and the right toon with the normal Arrow/Ctrl keys. Rest assured that there’s nothing wrong with the game, for more information check out toon.town/antivirus. We’ve received reports that some Toons are having an issue where their Anti-Virus is improperly labelling Toontown Rewritten as a virus as of our recent engine updates. Disney’s Toontown ban is not based on an IP, but on a hardware signature of the computer used for breaking the rules. All creative works are subject to copyright laws at the time of their creation.
If you’re just talking about a legal standpoint, then, yes. Using any phrase to harass another Toon (That is, following them around or continuing to bother them after they’ve asked you to stop) can result in an infraction. Rest assured, you cannot be banned for saying “You stink!” - however, you can be banned for harassment. Can you get banned from Toontown rewritten?
